Erik Torres
Chief Executive Officer
Erik is the co-founder of Memorial Valor Foundation and currently serves in the Special Operations Community. He ensures every section runs efficiently and that the foundation stays true to the mission. He began the foundation to ensure no brother is ever forgotten and to help the Gold Star families understand they are never alone.

Bryce Laemmlen
Chief Management Officer
Bryce is the co-founder and his passion for taking care of our families and honoring our hero's, helps drive the success of our foundation. His vision for creating unique opportunities to grow and spread our mission are what helps set us apart. He oversees all aspects of the foundation and ensures that our mission is on the forefront for all involved.

Jordan Comstock Chief Operations Officer
Jordan is an Army Infantry veteran that has been with the foundation since 2019. He has worked in several committees including Logistics, Honorees and most recently as the Marketing Director. Jordan runs the day to day operations of the foundation and supports each committee to ensure proper mission execution. He also ensures that the Foundation maintains the professional excellence that our honorees deserve.

Dave DiSalvo
Chief Financial Officer
Dave is our Chief Financial Officer and has oversight for all financial reporting, cash management, legal and corporate matters for the Foundation. He is the Business Manager for a high-net worth private family office in Greenwich CT and brings vast knowledge in all areas of Finance, Business and Business Management.

Tara Thomas-Perkins
Director of Honorees
Tara directly assists all of our Gold Star families with anything they may need throughout the year. She ensures that their loved ones are truly honored in a way that each fallen hero would be proud of. Her passion is driven from her direct experience of losing her husband while he was deployed overseas.

Erica Klenk
Senior Honorees Coordinator
Erica is a veteran of the Army with a career in Special Operations. Her sense of duty that was constructed throughout her military service, continued to grow as she transitioned to civilian life. She volunteers with the foundation because no fallen service member should ever be forgotten. Erica supports our Gold Star families by ensuring they have a memorable experience as the foundation honors their loved ones.

Kelly Goodman
Honorees Administrator
Kelly, the surviving spouse of MSG Nathan Goodman, was introduced to the Memorial Valor Foundation during Nathan’s recognition at the 2023 3-Gun Competition. Inspired by the foundation's mission and its commitment to supporting families like hers, she knew she wanted to be a part of it. Kelly has dedicated herself to serving other surviving families with compassion as they navigate life while remembering and honoring their loved ones.

Chad Swartout
Honorees Support Coordinator
Chad is an avid 3-gun competitor and competes in many matches across the country. He has led our Ambassador program as well as our social media. Chad has been an invaluable asset to the foundation in helping spread our mission and helping bring on sponsors to make sure we have a world class competition.

Pat Ritzel
Honorees Support Coordinator
Pat is a medically-retired Special Operations Flight Paramedic of 14 years and is an avid shooting sports competitor, including archery and 3 gun. His knowledge of shooting competitions and care for people brings a lot to the table for our Gold Star families. He coordinates/acquires gear for these families and assists them with training to help them shoot their loved one's stage at the event. His desire to give back anyway he can is embodied by his actions on and off the range, throughout the year, at our match as well as being a foundation ambassador at other 3 Gun matches throughout the country.

Shane is a retiring military veteran with over 20 years of service, where he served as an intelligence professional dedicated to building meaningful partnerships and advancing shared missions. He and his wife Kimberly have been married for 22 years and are the proud parents of three children: Harrison, Harper, and Juniper. Shane oversees the sponsoring of all Memorial Valor events.

"I am an interior designer who fell in love with the foundation while volunteering back in 2021. I currently am the Director of Sponsors and am so proud to be in the role. I love supporting our ever growing shooting community!
I am a mom to a 23 year old Army National Guardsman who is currently deployed and a 12 year old daughter. Chad and I are hyper focused on delivering the best experience for our sponsors and shooters."

Dawn Lolli
Director of Public Relations
Dawn has assumed the role of Director of Public Relations. She has worked in the foundation from the start in the Accounting committee. Dawn comes with 43 years experience working in the financial industry and a strong personal commitment to ensuring the gold star families know they and their loved one will never be forgotten.

Misty Joffrion
Public Relations Assistant
Originally from Savannah, Georgia, Misty has worked in Army medicine for over 25 years. She was introduced to 3 gun competitions around four years ago and has recently entered into long range competitions. She first volunteered for the Memorial 3 Gun Competition three years ago and became a foundation ambassador. She hopes to serve and help for many more years to come. Misty has been invaluable at our admin desk during the match to ensure registration runs smoothly.

Jenn has been an avid 3-gun shooter for many years and is a Memorial Valor Ambassador. She has years of experience in event coordination and is a valuable asset in making sure the annual match runs smoothly.

Austin Trockenbrot
Director of M3G Operations
Austin acts as a liaison between the Memorial Valor Foundation and other events that raise money for the foundation. He actively works to seek additional streams of revenue in order to raise as much as possible for our Gold star families. He has also served the foundation as a Range Officer at our annual event.

Seth Amidon
Director of Logistics
Seth started out as a volunteer at our 4th annual event and wasted no time diving in to help the foundation wherever he could. Seth now handles the logistical needs for our annual event, coordinating event setup and making sure each committee has what it needs for a successful match.

Cameron Torres
Program Coordinator
Cameron first began helping the foundation in our 2nd year as a RO Runner. A year that was scorching hot but it motivated Cameron even more. He has since served in the RO Runner capacity but wanted to do more; he feels as a program coordinator he will be able to fulfill this wish. He hopes that his professional experience will help him to motivate corporate donors to raise funds for our Gold Star Families.

JD Mooney
Program Cordinator
JD is a Marine Corps veteran that has been with the foundation since 2024.
Working as a Program Coordinator
allows the Foundation to tap into JD’s 25 plus years in sales and the food service industry to organize fundraising events and general community outreach to create awareness for the Foundation and increase it’s donor base.

Kurt Gruber
Program Coordinator
Kurt is a skilled marksman who competes in a range of firearm disciplines-from 3-gun competitions to long range precision shooting. Over the last 25 years, he has contributed significantly to the Defense Industrial Base, supporting the Department of Defense from the Pacific Rim to Southeast Asia. Now, Kurt is leveraging his extensive network within the DIB to help boost corporate giving as a way to continue the MVF mission to Remember, Honor and Memorialize fallen special forces soldiers.

Chelsey Mondy
Program Coordinator
Chelsey is joining us this year as program coordinator. After attending several of the matches with her husband, she knew that she wanted to be apart of the foundation. As both a military spouse and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, she was looking for ways, personally and professionally, to give back to the military community and knew joining Memorial Valor Foundation was an excellent way to do just that. As program coordinator, she will plan events in her region to bring awareness to the foundation and its honorees, while raising money for the families we serve.

Michael has been an ambassador for the foundation for several years. He handles the majority of all social media posts to help further the reach and influence of the foundation's mission.

Jeffrey Abraham
Ambassador Program
Jeff is an active shooting competitor and has represented the foundation as an ambassador for many years. His attention to detail and drive for excellence has made him a perfect fit to run our ambassador program. He helps support our ambassadors at events, on social media, and helps to further the mission of the foundation.
Emily Sheffield is a seasoned marketing strategist who founded her own agency in 2017, scaling it to multi-million-dollar success before transitioning into a sought-after Fractional CMO. With a wealth of experience spanning hundreds of for-profit and nonprofit organizations across the U.S., she brings a proven track record of driving growth and impact. Coming from a military family, Emily’s leadership, resilience, and strategic acumen set her apart in the ever-evolving world of marketing.

Patrick Smith
Graphic Designer
Pat Smith joins our team after finishing his career as a Special Forces Engineer (18C) with 7th Special Forces Group (A). After the Army, he utilized his Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design by serving as the Lead Graphic Designer for both the CJIOC-A (four-star command) and for USFOR-A during the critical period of transition out of Afghanistan and providing critical assistance during the withdrawal from HKIA. Helping Gold Star Families and honoring his brothers’ legacies will always be the highest honor for him.
