"I will never forget the night we went out with friends while at JBLM. He looked at me and said "I love my life". To be that content with life is something so many strive for. He lived each day to the fullest and without regret. One of the things I loved about him was when he dedicated himself to something, he didn't let up. He enjoyed smoking different types of meat on the grill and smoker. He took pride in sharing it with friends whenever he could. He also knew no stranger and he naturally attracted kids and dogs (something that his son does today)."
