SURVIVED BY: Parents, Philip and Maureen Miller, brothers, Thomas, Martin and Edward, sisters, Joanna, Mary, Therese and Patricia.

SSG Miller single-handedly charged over 100 insurgence while allowing his team to fall back to safety. While doing so he was wounded, but he continued to fight on until his team reached the safety point. SSG Miller was mortally wounded during the exchange.
